Awana

The DCC Awana program is open to youth in preschool through 12th grade. For more information about the Junior High and High School program, visit our Awana Youth Group page. 

 

Pre-register online or day-of in person.

Awana is the Wednesday evening youth ministry of Dewey Community Church. The goal of the ministry is just like our church mission statement: to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ.

 

Our desire is to show children that the love of Jesus is real, true and accessible while also instilling a Christ-like attitude of loving others.

P.S. An adult Bible study also meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:45 PM. So come on out and bring the family!

Important Reminders:

 

  • Do not drop off your child earlier than 6:20 PM.

  • Awana ends at 7:45 PM.

  • If Fisher schools are closed or dismissed early for inclement weather, Awana will also be canceled.

Awana Store (for Kindergarten-5th grade)

 

  • Students will have the opportunity to earn Awana Bucks each night.

  • How to earn Awana Bucks:

    • Memorizing Bible verses (2)

    • Bringing his/her Awana Handbook (1)

    • Bringing his/her Bible (1)

    • Bringing a friend (1)

We are excited to welcome your child with songs, games, and great Bible lessons as we did deeper into God's Word and build on our relationship with Him.   
 
In general, Awana runs from the first week of September through the end of April. Contact the church office with any questions.

April 23: Final Awana Store Nights! Last chance to use up Awana Bucks!
April 30: End of the Year Program! Families are invited to join!
