We have a lot of exciting things planned for Awana Youth Group this year!
Take note of these important dates for our 2023-2024 program.

 

August 30: Awana Kick-Off Night!

September 6: First Awana Youth Group

September 20: Fisher Homecoming Parade - NO AWANA

October 25: DCC Harvest Party! - The Preschool-5th Grade Awana will have family-friendly activities downstairs, while the Youth Group will have our own party.

November 22: Thanksgiving Break - NO AWANA

December 13: Christmas Party

December 20: Christmas Break - NO AWANA

December 27: Christmas Break - NO AWANA

January 3: Christmas Break - NO AWANA

March 13: Fisher Spring Break - NO AWANA

April 24: End of the Year Party! - The Preschool-5th Grade Awana kids will share a program with their families on this night, while the Youth Group will have our own party.

Important Reminders

 

  • Do not drop off your kids earlier than 6:20 PM.
  • Awana Youth Group ends at 7:45 PM.
  • If Fisher schools are closed or dismissed early for inclement weather, Awana will also be canceled.

Our vision here at Dewey Community Church Youth Group is to bring the Gospel to every young person in our church and local community. No matter who they are or where they stand with God, we want to give them a place where they receive love, truth, and gentleness.

The DCC Awana Youth Group is a safe place for students to receive love, truth, and encouragement. A typical night might include:
 

  • combined Bible memory work, games, and worship
  • split Junior High and High School groups for snacks, a lesson from scripture, and small group time
